Gluten Free Red Velvet Cookies

What are red velvet cookies made of?

Cocoa powder and red food coloring give this red velvet cookie reicpe its iconic color. plus the lightly chocolaty flavor. In addition, they also contain GF flour, baking powder, salr, brown and white sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla extract. White chocolate chips also give them a burst of sweetness.

Combine Dry Ingredients

Whisk together the gluten free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt and set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugar

Add butter and suagrs to the bowl of a stand mixer, and beat till light and fluffy.

Add Wet Ingredients

Blend in the egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract.

Add Dry Ingredients

Reduce speed to low and mix in the dry ingredients.

Add Chocolate Chips

Pulse your mixer or use a spatula to mix in the chocolate chips.

Scoop and Bake

Form into golf ball-size balls and bake at 350°F for 11-12 minutes or until the edges are set.

Cool and Enjoy

Cool on 
the baking sheet for 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
