Healthy Deviled Eggs

Are deviled eggs healthy?

Eggs are packed with protein, vitamins, lutein, and choline. They are low in carbs and naturally gluten free. But there is one way to make the classic deviled eggs healthier - use Greek yogurt instead of mayo! It's just as creamy, but makes them lighter, increases the protein, and adds a tangy flavor!

Hard Boil the Eggs

Use your favorite method to prepare hard boiled eggs. Let them cool and peel them.

Slice the Eggs

Cut the hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise.

Remove the Yolks

Pop them yolks out of the whites and add them to a bowl with mustard, salt, and pepper.

Make the Filling

Mash the yolks and mix the filling together with a fork until it is creamy.

Fill the Eggs

Scoop or pipe the filling into the opening in the eggs.

Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika and keep refrigerated until you are ready to enjoy.
