Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside. Then cream the butter and sugar, and blend in the egg whites and vanilla.
Add the flour mixture, milk, and yogurt to the creamed mixture and beat until it's smooth.
Divide the batter evenly between three greased cake pans and bake at 350°F. Let cool completely.
Toss the strawberries with sugar. Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to soft peaks.
Spread one layer with whipped cream and strawberries. Repeat with the second layer.
Place the final layer on top and covered the cake with the rest of the whipped cream.
