Gluten Free Peach Cobbler

Is it better to use fresh or frozen peaches?

In a dessert that highlights the fruit, it's always best to use fresh. However, you can use frozen peaches to make this cobbler. 

Prepare the Fruit

Place sliced peaches in a baking dish. Sprinkle with flour and sugar, and dot with butter.

Prepare the Topping

Mix the dry ingredients together. Then stir in shortneing, milk, and eggs to form a dough.

Add the Topping

Crumble the dough over the peaches in the baking dish.

Bake the Cobbler

Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and juicy, and the topping is golden.

Cool and Serve

Let the cobbler cool for about 10-20 minutes before serving warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
