How to Heat Treat Flour

Oven: Spread the flour onto a large baking sheet and place in an oven at 350ºF oven for about 7-10 minutes, until the temperature of the flour reaches 165ºF.  Microwave Method: Place the flour in a microwave-safe dish. Heat it in 30 second bursts, giving it a stir in between, until it reaches a safe 165ºF. 

Make the Dough

Beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla together until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. 

Adjust the Consistency

Add in a bit of milk as needed to get the dough to a nice consistency.

Add Chips

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Serve and Enjoy

Enjoy your edible cookie dough as is, or use a cookie scoop to make balls or bites.
