Gluten Free Brownie in a Mug

What is a Brownie in a Mug?

These rich, fudgy mug brownies serve two people, and are actually made in individual ramekins... but you could use an oven-safe mug to make them instead if you like!

Melt the Butter and Chocolate

Melt the butter and chocolate chips together using a double boiler. Heat until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.

Add the Other Ingredients

Cream the egg and sugar together, then pour in the melted chocolate, and finally whisk in the salt, vanilla, and flours.

Divide the Batter

Pour the batter evenly into two ramekins, and place them both on a baking sheet. Next, gently press a tablespoon of chocolate chips into the center of each brownie.

Bake the Brownies

Bake the brownies for 20-25 minutes, or until they're not quite set and the tops are crackly.

Serve and Enjoy

Let your mug brownies cool for a minute, then serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
