No-Churn Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

What is in chocolate chip ice cream?

This recipe starts with the basic no-churn ice cream base - heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. But, of course, you add chocolate chips - lots of them! And when you make it yourself, you can add a combination of chips and chopped chocolate, so you get a variety of textures!

Whip the Cream

Combine the heavy cream and vanilla extract in a chilled bowl and whip to soft peaks.

Fold it Together

Gently fold in the entire can of swetenened condensed milk.

Add the Chocolate

Fold in the chocolate - chips, chopped chocolate, or a combination.

Pour in a Pan

Pour the ice cream base into a freezer-safe container, like a loaf pan.

Freeze the Ice Cream

Sprinkle the top with more chocolate, if desired, and freeze completely.

Soften Slightly

If your ice cream is solid, take it out of the freezer for a few minutes.

Scoop and Serve

Scoop into a bowl or cone and enjoy!
