I so LOVE vanilla ice cream! (Thanks for the recipe on how to make it without a machine!) I also love a good vanilla frosting–I’m picky about those.

I absolute favorite Vanilla flavored food is warm homemade vanilla pudding. My Great Grandmother use to make it when I was sick, she said it would cure any kind of upset stomach

  3. Linda O'Brien

I really love chocolate, especially dark chocolate but when it comes to flavored things, like cakes and ice cream, I prefer vanilla. It’s hard to beat vanilla ice cream.

  4. Vanilla Bean is always a favorite flavor of…well…EVERYTHING most especially ice cream!
We make it all the time when we are up camping. has turned into such a fun tradition. We are absolutely going to try your version!

I love everything vanilla – but the best to me is a strong vanilla ice cream!! Would love to try this recipe on your blog! Sounds like heaven!!!

I’m in love with vanilla steamers; I have one almost every day. If that doesn’t count (because it’s a drink), my favorite is vanilla creme brulee!

  10. Jenna

My favorite vanilla flavored food is…vanilla chai latte! I guess that’s more of a drink though…so I’ll say vanilla coconut milk ice cream.

  11. Diana

I love chocolate chip cookies flavored with vanilla. I always put more in than listed in a recipe. It makes the cookie. And I love it in french toast, pumpkin pie, vanilla ice cream and so much more!

  12. Chris at Hye Thyme Cafe

Are you kidding? Vanilla goes in everything, doesn’t it? I just made vanilla-glazed popcorn the other day, so I guess I’ll go with that for now. 😉

My total weakness is Chess pie, made with the best vanilla I can find, my problem is I hate the crust, so I have been trying to add vanilla sugar, vanilla bean paste etc…. haven’t found the right combination though.

  14. Carole Resnick

It depends. For cookies like Spritz I like a clear vanilla. For uncooked (baked) recipes I like pure vanilla. For baked recipes I use ANY vanilla.
