Can you believe it’s December already? Thanksgiving is over and Hanukkah is under way; which also means that it’s officially shopping season! In fact, today is Cyber Monday, the busiest online shopping day of the year. So the lovely Carrie from Carrie’s Experimental Kitchen rallied together a group of amazing food bloggers for a Holiday Cheer Giveaway to give someone a little extra spending money this holiday season. A little? Heck…we decided to give away a $600 Visa Gift Card! After all, we truly appreciate and love all of our readers!

I would love to win like everyone else. I am trying to get money and gift cards together to bring my large family of 6 sons and myself and hubby, on our first trip and our first trip since fighting breast cancer. This would be a blessing

I would love an extra $600.00 this Christmas!!!! I would love to be able to buy my kiddos some much deserved Christmas Gifts, after getting Diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 28 it has cost much more then I ever had….so my christmas money has pretty much gone to medication and surgery!!!!!

WOW…With a $600.00 gift card I could actually finish paying for my breast reconstruction!!! May 2012, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 28, With 2 kids under 5 and a full time college student it was a blow that financially devastated me. The doctors took my girls(breasts), but they did not take my spirit!!!! With an extra $600 I could get to my surgery(almost 5 hours away) and buy my little ones some much deserved Christmas gifts!!!!

  4. If I were to win the money, it would help me to finally finish my 501c3 paperwork with $$ needed to finally become a 501c3 company so that I can raise monies to help many teens that have been exploited and/or abused. I just lost my best friend & VP over 7 months ago to a drug overdose & am just beginning to be able to pull myself out of the depression from the grieving process. I have to have the money to be able to get sizable donations that will be needed to get this very sizable but very much needed residential healing center for teens that have been exploited and/or abused using animal therapy with rescued animals started much less finished.

Sorry to have gone on so long but I am very passionate about getting this off the ground & bringing it all to fruition. I wish everyone luck & a Very Merry Christmas!

I’d buy myself a brand new couch for my aching back. The couch I have is all run down and it makes my back hurt to sit on it. I’d love something that made it so I could spend more time in the kitchen baking than nursing an aching back!

I would love to make some homemade holiday treats
& bring them to people’s houses & Christmas parties!
I would enjoy using it to buy some fun Christmas presents
For my friends & family & to bring some to the Christmas
    Box house!!! 🙂 Thanks!!!

  7. If I won the money I would pay for a plane ticket for my father b/c he hasn’t been able to met my 8 month old daughter yet. That would be the best Christmas present for all of us.

  8. BitsyBet

I would use the gift card to pay for me and my daughter’s college textbooks. She’ll be starting her second semester of freshman year and I’m going back to earn my bachelor’s in nursing. This would help tremendously with that expense.

I would buy something nice for my in-laws, who were instrumental in helping my husband and me plan our out of state wedding this year. I don’t know what I would’ve done without them.

  12. Robin J

If I won the $600 I would help pay for my Auntie’s funeral, who passed away today. And, spend some on a cross country trip for me and my hubby.

  13. Pam Gurganus

With an extra $600 this holiday I would buy and send Christmas gifts to my family in other states that we can’t be with this year and I would also donate some of the money to my favorite pet rescue!

  14. Dawn L

I would use the $600.00 to pay bills and buy my daughter birthday and Christmas gifts I’m out of work because I’ve had back surgery. This gift card would help so much!!

  15. Jaclyn

The money would cover Christmas! It would make bring some relief when I have so many other bills to pay, but it is my daughter’s first Christmas so I want it to be special.

  16. Melanie

If I won a $600 Visa gift card, I would actually be able to get gifts for my children this year. With 2 in college and one about to finish high school, its hard for a single mom to keep up sometimes.

  17. Great giveaway! I would most likely put it towards gear we need to buy to build our cabin next summer. We are doing the work ourselves and need some speciality tools. This would be great!!

  18. Jamie Champagne

Let’s see…I would cry first…lol…then I would use it to Christmas shop for my precious children, my husband who never gets anything – haha -and never complains, but it would be so amazing to be able to purchase him a gift, then for my mom and dad who help so much with my children, then we would take some to provide gifts for a child on the angel tree. I’ve really been stressing because I don’t have the extra money to purchase gifts for my family AND to give to another family – I truly want my children to experience the joy of giving during the holidays. What an amazing giveaway – thanks so much for the chance to win!

  19. An extra $600? Yeah I would totally buy some appliances I have been wanting for a while! And treat my husband to a nice Christmas present. Cause he deserves something awesome.

  20. Meg @ The Housewife in Training Files

I would love to treat my family with amazing Christmas presents this year along with whipping up a delicious spread for the holiday dinner!

  21. Lilli

Thanks for the chance! With the gift card our kiddos would definitely have a great Christmas and so I could have a big splurge on all the kitchen gadgets I’ve been drooling over for ages!

  22. Starla Bates

I would put half towards my nana a new mattress and half towards 1 college credit. Life is fabulous. Giveaways are a blessing!
