Halloween Monster Brownie Cookies {w/ a Virtual Wedding Shower}
Halloween monster brownie cookies are ghoulish fun for the little goblins in your house, and maybe the big ones, too!
You know what Thursday is, right? If you said Halloween, you are only half right, because it is also they day my friend Becca from It’s Yummi! walks down the aisle. So for her Virtual Wedding Shower, I am bringing these easy and tasty Monster Brownie Cookies!
I am so happy for Becca that she is about to marry the man of her dreams. While I have not met them personally, it truly seems that although she has been through some ups and downs, he has stuck by her and supported her through it all. That is so special and amazing. So to celebrate this wonderful event, a group of us came together to throw Becca a Virtual Wedding Shower. With as amazing as my foodie friends are, you know we are in for a delicious party! Make sure you check out what’s on the menu at the bottom of this post. And also stop by to see her on Facebook and say, “Congrats!”
What could be more fun than a Halloween wedding?! I have told Becca that Halloween is a great day to get married – my aunt and uncle were married on Halloween, and now, over 25 years later (26? 27? Geez, I forget), they are as happy as ever. And it is already such a festive day – the crisp fall air, excited anticipation, laughter and joy. And chocolate. Definitely the perfect recipe for an amazing wedding day.
And what could be more fun than colorful, chewy, chocolaty, delicious cookies?!?!
And besides fun, these monster brownie cookies couldn’t be easier or faster to make!
Perfect for when the kids tell you the night before that you have to bring cookies to their class Halloween party the next day. Add a few ingredients to your favorite brownie mix, scoop them out onto a tray, and press in your favorite General Mills Monster Cereal pieces and marshmallows. Naturally, the kids’ cookies will end up looking like this…
But you can make them all pretty, like I did, in case you are going to a fancy-shmancy Halloween gala, or, you know, a Halloween wedding…
In fact, they are so quick and easy that even Mr. Short Attention Span helped me make them.
Look! So cute!
Whether you’ve never been married before or you could do it all over again, when would be your ideal date or season for your wedding?

The good news is they taste great. The bad news is they spread waaaaaay too much. Mine dont look like this at all. Not sure I would try again. Sad face.

Hmm, I wonder if there is a variation between brands. I have seen this as a standard brownie cookie recipe, but this time I happened to have Duncan Hines in my cabinet.
