This week, #SundaySupper will be showcasing recipes that celebrate all the wonderful things you can find this time of year at your local Farmer’s Market (check out a preview). My recipe will feature that ubiquitous summer vegetable – zucchini. But I thought I would do a little roundup today of two of my favorites that are all over New Jersey Farmer’s Markets now and through the end of the summer Corn & Tomatoes!!
Personally, I think New Jersey has THE BEST corn and tomatoes! When they are at their peak, I prefer them simply prepared. Corn has to pass the “Boil For 5 Minutes, No Salt, No Butter” test, though once it has passed the test, I do like to add a little salt and butter. Tomatoes are subject to the “Slice & Salt” test, though their final destination is usually a salad with cukes and some Italian dressing. But that doesn’t mean that they aren’t also fabulous in amazing recipes like these from my blogger friends.
Oh, and before we get to the yumminess, don’t forget about the two awesome giveaways I am cohosting, one for a $500 Amazon Gift Card, and another for $800 in awesome prizes, including a Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer, a Target Gift Card, and a selection of cookbooks.
Please note: not all of these photos are mine. If you want to pin a single recipe/image, please visit the link to pin from the original source. If you want to pin the entire collect please pin the image above.

My husband’s brother married a girl from New Jersey. At their wedding, they wanted to have a Corn Off . Jersey corn Vs. Indiana corn. It didn’t end up happening but I’m headed to Jersey in a few weeks, so I need to get my hands on some corn!
Funny! And yes, make sure you get some corn, preferably picked the same day.
Love the round up Brianne! And thank you for including my recipe!!
Thank you!! It was fun to check out the great recipes!

Thanks Kate! There are some great ones!!
Great round up! I love how you organized all the recipes!
Thanks! I love the roundups with tons of recipes, but I lose my focus on them sometimes, so I wanted to highlight a smaller number of awesome ones.
Thank you so much for including my soup in your round-up!
It is gorgeous Renee! And I am sure delicious.
NJ produce is pretty stellar! No wonder we are the garden state! I have four fresh farm markets only minutes from my home in South Jersey, and I just love it. Where are you located?
People don’t give NJ enough credit. I am in Central Jersey, near Rutgers.
