Homemade Ketchup and 4 Variations

It's so easy to make your own gourmet condiments for your burgers, hot dogs, and French fries.

Ingredients

For Original Homemade Ketchup

  • one 6 oz can Tuttorosso Tomato Paste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (you'll need a total of 1/2 cup liquid, so if you use less vinegar, the rest can be water)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

For Balsamic Ketchup

  • one 6 oz can Tuttorosso Tomato Paste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup balsamic vinegar (you'll need a total of 1/2 cup liquid, so if you use less vinegar, the rest can be water)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

For Worcestershire Ketchup

  • one 6 oz. can Tuttorosso Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

For Buffalo Ketchup

  • one 6 oz can Tuttorosso Tomato Paste
  • 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

For Cranberry Balsamic Ketchup

  • one 6 oz can Tuttorosso Tomato Paste
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

For any of the variations, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
