Every kid or kid at heart will love it, and moms can feel good about giving them this healthy treat. Alongside a nutritious breakfast or as an afternoon snack, enjoy of a cold glass of Guilt Free Chocolate Milk.
Guilt Free Chocolate Milk
I am not a huge fan of chocolate milk mainly because I can’t tolerate a lot of dairy products, in addition to it having a ton of sugar. However, every once in a while a big cold glass of chocolate milk just hits the spot. I figured since its summer and the temperature is on the rise, I would try to make chocolate milk from scratch. Last winter I came up with the best guilt free hot chocolate recipe, which you’ll have to try, and I figured I’d use it as a starting point of reference for developing a chocolate milk recipe. I guess you could say I reverse engineered the recipe for a more cool and refreshing drink. You’ll have to tell me what you think!
The best part about this recipe is the foam! When you blend the milk, the cream starts to become like whipped cream or froth, depending on whether you use whole or 2% milk. Once I made it, I was like <face palm> duh! When you beat cream it becomes whipped cream! So you have this delicious guilt free drink with guilt free whipped cream or froth on top! For better cream, use whole milk! If you’re even more health-minded, you can use 1% milk. Well-blended, it will also give you a nice, lighter, frothy foam.
I hope you all enjoy this sweet treat this summer and please feel free to visit my site, Gluten Free Anonymous for more gluten free ideas!
