Since starting this blog, I have connected with so many awesome people. One of those people is Nescett, who writes the blog BananaOats. While her blog is more about fitness and a healthy lifestyles, she is a foodie, and often writes about what she is cooking and eating. She is living the total California-girl lifestyle I wish I could live, if I were ever willing to leave the East Coast – outdoor yoga classes, hiking, fresh fruits and veggies all year (oh, and amazing, blonde hair, which I wouldn’t have regardless of which coast I lived on). Today she posted this little foodie survey, and I thought it would be fun to answer it myself.
Also, after you are done reading, I’d love for you to answer my survey below. And if you don’t care to read, at least scroll on down and answer my one question. I am planning to join Spicie Foodie‘s Your Best Recipe, where participants submit their best recipe from that month. So I am going to let my readers decide what recipe I submit. I’d love to know what YOU think is my best recipe in April. On Monday I will you know what I pick when she posts the recipes on her site, so that you can head over there and vote for me. If I win, I’ll get to write a feature for Honest Cooking. Yay!
So, for my answers:
Coke or Pepsi?
On the now-rare occasion that I drink soda, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi.
Lemonade or Fruit Punch?
Iced tea?
Caramel Apple or Cotton Candy?
Caramel apple. Or how about a fudge caramel apple? Or how about a fudge caramel everything apple.
Butterfinger or Snickers?
Snickers. But really, Reese’s.
Pudding and Jell-O?
Pudding.
Turkey or Chicken?
American or Provolone Cheese?
Of these, I guess provolone, but I’d rather blue or goat or parmesan or cheddar or feta or Brie. Mmmm, cheese!
Crackers or Cookies?
Cookies.
Pretzels or Chips?
Don’t really eat either.
Mexican food or Japanese food?
Chinese food or Italian food?
Pie or Cake?
Cake. Unless it is chocolate cream pie or peanut butter pie or something like that.
Ice cream or Cookies?
Ice cream.
Pasta or Pizza?
Pizza – preferably homemade.
Soda or Juice?
Soda, though I never drink regular, and have pretty much cut out diet soda. I still love it, though, but I am trying to stay away from it.
Chocolate Bars or Chocolate Truffles?
OMG, truffles!!!
Apples or Bananas?
I eat both almost everyday, but I really LOVE bananas.
Salad or Soup?
Cauliflower or Broccoli?
Onion Rings or French Fries?
Neither. Well, I do like oven fries. Especially sweet potato oven fries.
Blizzard or McFlurry?
Blizzard, though it is a rare treat. But I do love my ice cream!
Fried or Poached Eggs?
Poached – now if only I could do it well.
Crepes or Pancakes?
I loves me some pancakes!!
Hashbrowns or Roasted Potatoes?
Roasted potatoes – so versatile.
Oatmeal or Cereal?
Oatmeal, no question.
Now it’s your turn. Copy this to your blog, if you have one, and/or answer a few of the questions in the comments below.

Great survey, but Pepsi! Such a coke person.
The Hubby is a total Coke person!
Awwww California girl lifestyle! Love it. But wait, no French Fries for you…waaaaa?? Crazy. By the way, my google reader hasn’t been working at home and I’m SO behind on blog reading. Also, I can share here but not on my page, I’ve been involved in a SUPER intense interviewing process for a new job. It’s looking really promising but will take a lot of time away from blogging and blog reading. But, it’s something that I think the blog really helped me with. Crazy how blogging can open doors!
My poor tummy does not handle fried food too well. I used to LOVE fries. Can’t wait to hear about the new opportunity for you. Blogging really is an interesting way to make connections. I’m hoping that one day when I no longer have a real little one, it will lead to a new career for me, because I don’t see myself going back to the old one.
I love these surveys—they’re always so funny and interesting!

I’ll just case my vote for broccoli here
Lisa recently posted…Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding ….with a secret high protein ingredient!
Just felt like being a little silly. Broccoli is the best, especially roasted.
Great surveys- i am a newbie to your blog but really love it and so i voted for the PB jelly dip- mostly because i’m vegan and i love seeing other people come up with fun/quirky ways to cater for vegans!
Can’t wait to see which wins!
Thanks for stopping by. I don’t do a TON of vegan stuff, but sometimes you’ll find some things here, or things that you could adapt easily, like my Caramleized Leek and Asparagus Salad would be tasty without the goat cheese.
